Hey there.
Apart of my usual webcomic Alice Otter, I'm drawing a second online strip named Web Comic Star, that I announced not too long ago. Well, the strip's up, and I'm letting my partner on this new comic, Tom Ziolkowski, to draw this week's installment.
However, I noticed he wasn't too good to draw cars, and a taxi's featured on this new comic. So I did a pretty damm fast guide on "car anatomy" and sent it to him. The taxi came out decently, so it looks like it works!
The sketches and tips I sent to him can be found at: www.aliceotter.com/stuff/car01-sedan.gif. And, after a while, I've realized that there's a lot of literature out there about how to draw people, animals, cartoons, etc, but there isn't anything on how to draw CARS for cartoonists, so I've been thinking about rendering these instructions better and do a sort of tutorial on "cars for cartoonists". What do you say?
